Braised Fish with Coke Recipe (Cá Kho Coca)


Have you ever heard of using soft drinks as ingredients for cooking? If you haven’t, Vietnamese Food Team introduces to you one of our stunning Vietnamese Fish Recipes called Braised Fish with Coke (Cá Kho Coca). We hope it will refresh your meal and give you something fun to show your family and friends while cooking. Eating with boiled rice is my usual choice when enjoy with any Vietnamese Dish. Try and make one of our delicious Vietnamese Fish Recipes, you would love it because the fish meat is really sweet, a little spicy. Vietnamese people often eat this dish with several bowls of rice and still hungry for more. Ingredients:

1 long scad fish (300g – 400g)
100g of pork meat (use the half lean half fat part)
1 can of Coke (300ml)
Salt, sugar, fish sauce, purple onion, vegetable oil and chillies.

Process:

Step 1: Wash and clean the fish, cut it. Put them into a tray with a spoon of salt, marinate in 30 minutes. Wash and slice thinly pork meat.

Step 2: Heat up with a little bit of cooking oil in the pan, add the scad in, stir fry it quickly then take it out on a plate.
