Rice Spaghetti Soup with Crab and Shrimp Recipe (Bánh Canh Tôm Cua)


I have to admit that I am totally fall in love with Rice Spaghetti Soup with Crab and Shrimp (Bánh Canh Tôm Cua). That is why my mom always cooks one of amazing Vietnamese Noodle Recipes like this one for me in every single weekend. The natural sweetness from crab and shrimps in broth is spectacular. The first time I ate this noodle was in Ben Thanh Market with mother. And from that day, I told her that: “Can you cook it for me, mom?”. Luckily, I have the best mother ever. Through her recipe, I will show it again for all you guys who loves this dish like me. When you are ready, please follow my instruction below and let us start cooking one of stunning Vietnamese Noodle Recipes right now.

Ingredients:

1 big crab
300g silver shrimps
1 bowl tapioca starch
1 bowl rice starch
2 teaspoons annatto seeds
Salt, fish sauce, Magi’s stuff, spring onion, chili powder, purple onion
Lime

Process:

Step 1: Clean well crab, put into pot; cover carefully; cook until it is cooked. Separate meat and shell. Mix meat crab with ½ teaspoon salt + a little pepper.

Step 2: Peel off the cover of shrimps. Pull out the black lines on their backs. Clean and smash them.

Step 3: Pour tapioca starch + rice starch into big bowl, mix them with a little salt. Pour slowly hot water (250ml), use big spoon to stir well. If this mixture is too much water, add more tapioca starch.
